MTB RACE (XC & ENDURO)

Please note that ROAG has finally run out of ROAG numbers that can be used on ROAG boards. With over 145 000 members now on our database, we have totally exhausted all options (we’ve used 5-digit numbers plus then we have been using hexa-decimal numbers) and face needing to either go into a 6-digit number range or add more letters into our current hexa-decimal number range. Both options unfortunately cannot work well for timing systems.

This means that your ROAG number will still be the same (it is a forever number) when registering for races, but you will be using termporary race boards with race specific numbering, not your permanent ROAG Board.

At MTB emmargements going forward you will now receive either a once-off personalised race board (similar to the Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour board used last year) or a temporary ROAG board that has a short number on it (For example race number 58). These boards will need to handed back once you have finished your race (someone will collect it from you on the finish line). This will be the case for the Beau Vallon Challenge. This means that you do not need to bring your permanent ROAG Board to the race this weekend as we will be providing you with one. We apologise for any possible inconvenience caused, and hope that it is clear to you why we are needing to make this important change.
